Biography:
Nine-year-old best selling author and entertainment triple treat, Douglas Christie Jr., is setting the world ablaze with his witty, fun, and extremely inspirational book series "Dougie's World", in which he has written not one but two best selling kids books titled " Dougie Goes to School" and "Dougie Learns to Ride"– soon to be followed by his third book "Dougie Goes to the Dentist". The final two in the series are slated to release in 2011/2012. Respectively, Dougie Jr. is a Seattle native by way of Sacramento, Ca., where he made his debut into the world as the son of NBA star Doug Christie. Dougie Jr. also loves to play video games, read and of course play Basketball!

He is the younger brother of teen pop recording artist and United states youth ambassador sister 'CHANI'. He has dreams of someday playing for the NBA Sacramento kings or the Los Angeles Lakers. His favorite NBA players are His father, Doug Christie, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. Dougie has already starred in two films: "Stanley" 2009 as the character Hunter and "Stanley" 2010 as the character Hassan. He's already co-starred in three music videos, one of which is titled 'Don't be shy' featuring Chani and Lil jj and is one of the top tracks on ABC'S Another Cinderella story for Warner Brothers and he has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. He is home schooled by his father Doug, and his favorite food is cheese pizza!
